Volunteer
Opportunities
There are many opportunities to volunteer with BANA throughout the year!
Neighborhood Challenge Grant
The Neighborhood Challenge Grant (formerly Love Your Block) is a competitive program to help Neighborhood-Based Organizations (NBOs) meet their most pressing challenges through community service. The purpose of the grant is to promote and increase volunteerism in the city while partnering with city staff to improve the quality of life in Little Rock neighborhoods. The city awards up to 15 grants ($2500 each- previously $1500) per any one organization (maximum of 5 grants per ward). This money has gone to projects in BANA such the Briarwood sign, BANA safety vests/hats, tumblers, Halloween bags, and in 2024 the BANA street topper signs. In 2025 we were once again awarded the grant and will use the money this year to plant privacy trees on Ouachita behind the DeSoto Park Apartments (formerly Briarwood). We need volunteers to help plant the trees. Please click here to volunteer to help plant trees. Planting will begin in the Fall of 2025.

City-Wide Clean Up
